Perky Bean Cafe remains one of my favorites. Their food is fresh and yummy. I like the chai tea from the coffee shop. It's still a little clunky to go order your drink separate but I get it. I'd come here even if it isn't so close to me. Give them a try.
This is a great little place right off the 183, I've had the mocha twice and a regular coffee a few more times. The sausage and egg croissant that I had was perfect (I had planned on leaving right after getting my food and coffee) it smelled so good I stayed and ate it. The folks are nice and fast. The croissant was hot and flaky even with the egg and sausage.
This really should be a 5-star review. But, as customer service is HUGE for me, I must say today's visit missed the mark... at least for one server. First, the place is very well decorated, and the dining tables are close, but not cramped. Kudos to Karly, and Rebecca for helping my server. Not sure if today was an "off" day, but Amanda missed it with me. I won't go into detail, but she definitely dismissed me on a couple of attempts to gain her attention. Again, I will chalk it up to just being on of those days for my server. But, something can definitely be done for identifying when a customer may need some attention. As for the food, the Pastami Hash was a big hit for me! I added a side of country gravy to it, and... #yummy
Open space with plenty of seating. Some outside. Nice new building. Restaurant to the right of the coffee shop. Enjoyed the cold brew. Noticed this gf and df brownie. Great service!
